This referral program lets you and your friends earn a referral bonus in the form of scratch cards. The purpose of this referral program is to incentivize all existing customers of CoinSwitch to introduce new users from their respective networks. Through this process, we recognize our loyal CoinSwitch users for their efforts.
All verified users of CoinSwitch app are eligible for the referral program (hereinafter referred to as the “you” or “Referrer”).
Each Referrer can benefit from the referral program by referring their friends and family. Your referee must not have an existing CoinSwitch account.
As soon as your family, friend or acquaintances ("your referee") signs up on CoinSwitch app using your unique referral link and fulfills the below conditions, you and your referee will receive a scratch card. The scratch card amount will be credited in the form of Bitcoin and may vary from time to time.
The following referral scheme is specific to you and will be applicable for referrals done after 11 AM (IST), 21 June 2022:
You will get a 50 INR scratch card when your referee successfully completes KYC and bank details verification.
You will get a 200 INR scratch card when your referee invests between 1000 INR and 4999 INR in their first crypto purchase on the CoinSwitch app.
OR
You will get a 350 INR scratch card when your referee invests 5000 INR or more in their first crypto purchase on the CoinSwitch app.
You will get referral rewards 48 hours after your referee has done the required action and has not withdrawn the funds from the CoinSwitch app. The referral amount is credited in the form of Bitcoin of equivalent value.
For receipt of the referral amount, the Referrer must have already submitted all documents for completion of their KYC and Bank verification on the CoinSwitch app or must submit the same within thirty (30) days of confirmation of eligibility for the referral amount. In the event the Referrer fails to complete their KYC and Bank verification within the timeframes mentioned herein, their right to claim the referral amount shall lapse and CoinSwitch shall not be required to provide the referral amount to you.
We will have a right to deduct any transaction or platform cost, or any other charges incurred by us while crediting the rewards to the Referrer who has received a scratch card under the referral program.
We do not provide any guarantee or commitment on the quantity of the Bitcoin which would be credited as the referral amount, and the quantity shall be derived based on the real-time value or price of Bitcoin prevailing at the time when the scratch card is redeemed by you.
CoinSwitch reserves the right to modify the terms and conditions of the referral program, including terminating or suspending the referral program, with immediate effect, as it may deem fit without any prior notice or any liability to you. In addition, CoinSwitch reserves the right to change, suspend or terminate the terms of the referral program at any time due to changing market conditions, risk of fraud, or other reasons as it deems fit. By participating in the referral program, you acknowledge that receipt of a scratch card shall always be subject to the terms and conditions as set out herein.
CoinSwitch reserves the right to disqualify or disallow any person/users from the CoinSwitch referral program for illegal or unlawful or other reasons as it may deem fit.
Where CoinSwitch in its sole determination determines that there is a possibility that your referee is not genuine or is fraudulent, Coinswitch shall not provide any scratch cards or the referral amounts to you or your referee. Coinswitch’s determination of eligibility of any transaction for the referral benefit shall be final and binding on you and your referee and you agree and accept that you shall have not right to make any claims against Coinswitch. CoinSwitch does not guarantee a scratch card on every account you refer to due to the limitations mentioned above and the risk of fraud, but shall make a good faith effort to do so whenever possible
We constantly look out for fake or duplicate accounts. If we find something amiss, we will disqualify those accounts from being part of the referral program and withdraw any rewards or scratch cards that may have been credited earlier.
If you find someone misusing the referral program, you can let us know by contacting us directly at support@coinswitch.co. We'll investigate it and take the necessary steps.
In case of any dispute, the decision of CoinSwitch will be final and binding.

Coinswitch shall have no liability to you or your referee for any direct or indirect, consequential, incidental, speculative or special damages arising from any claim or action hereunder, based on contract, tort or other legal theory, and whether advised of the possibility of such damages. CoinSwitch’s aggregate liability to you for any claims which are not disclaimed hereinabove shall be limited to the value of the scratch card or Rupees 50, whichever is lower.
Terms and Conditions - Vouchers
All verified users of CoinSwitch app are eligible for redeeming vouchers.
Partner brands that provide voucher codes to users would communicate the value and the expiry date of the voucher on their respective websites/apps.
Vouchers from a partner brand can be redeemed limited number of times as per the discretion of the partner brand.
A verified user can redeem a unique voucher code only once.
Some Vouchers are valid only for new users. Existing verified users of CoinSwitch will not be able to redeem such vouchers.
Holders of the vouchers cannot exchange vouchers for their value in Rupees.
A user is solely responsible for their voucher codes. CoinSwitch is not responsible for lost/stolen voucher codes.
Some vouchers have a maximum number of redeems and hence would follow a first come first serve policy.
Vouchers cannot be redeemed after they have expired. CoinSwitch allows only one voucher code to be redeemed per user.
CoinSwitch reserves the right to modify the terms and conditions of the vouchers, including terminating them, with immediate effect, as it may deem fit without any prior notice.
CoinSwitch reserves the right to disqualify any person/persons/institutions from the CoinSwitch vouchers as it may deem fit.
No legal clauses are binding CoinSwitch to honor any/all the redemption of vouchers.
CoinSwitch shall have no liability for any defects or failure by the issuer of voucher to provide the goods or services promised under the vouchers and the user understands and accepts that the user shall not make any claim against CoinSwitch for the same.
COINSWITCH MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, REGARDING ANY VOUCHER OR THE USER’S PARTICIPATION IN THE PROGRAM. BY PARTICIPATING IN THE PROGRAM, EACH USER AGREES TO RELEASE AND HOLD COINSWITCH AND ITS EMPLOYEES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, SHAREHOLDERS, AGENTS, REPRESENTATIVES OF COINSWITCH GROUP, THEIR AFFILIATES, SUBSIDIARIES, ADVERTISING, PROMOTION AND FULFILMENT AGENCIES HARMLESS FROM ANY AND ALL LOSSES, DAMAGES, RIGHTS, CLAIMS AND ACTIONS OF ANY KIND IN CONNECTION WITH THE PROGRAM OR RESULTING FROM ACCEPTANCE, POSSESSION, OR USE OF THE VOUCHER, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, PERSONAL INJURY, DEATH, AND PROPERTY DAMAGE, AND CLAIMS BASED ON PUBLICITY RIGHTS, DEFAMATION, OR INVASION OF PRIVACY. These terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India. You hereby unconditionally submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts and tribunals in Bengaluru, India alone for the determination of any matters arising out of or under these terms. CoinSwitch shall not be prevented from taking proceedings relating to a dispute arising out of these terms in any other courts with jurisdiction. To the extent permitted by applicable law, CoinSwitch may take concurrent proceedings in any number of jurisdictions.
