A market order can be placed in non-market hours too. But it will be queued and gets executed only once the US market hours open. Such orders would be available under 'Open' on US Stocks’ Orders & History page.
For any market order which is partially executed, it gets moved under the 'History' tab with the number of shares that were allotted out of the requested quantity.
